T'Challa speaks in front of U.N. during 'Black Panther'

One day I had a dream that Chadwick Boseman was accepting an Oscar for Best Actor in 2019 for his work as T'Challa/Black Panther in Marvel's Black Panther, but then I woke up. The dream partly stemmed from the image up above, which featured Boseman as T'Challa speaking to a group of foreign dignitaries. It's a scene everyone should be familiar with unless you're one of the 20 people who still hasn't seen what's arguably the best film of 2018 (so far).

Am I speaking with a bit of bias? Probably. I did get to visit Wakanda before the film hit theaters, and have been longing to return every weekend. Judging by the film's performance over the last five weeks, it looks like I'm not alone. One has to feel bad for any film that hit theaters between February 16 (when Black Panther hit cinemas) and April 27 (when Avengers: Infinity War hits cinemas), as Black Panther mania doesn't seem to be slowing down.

Every week, it sounds like Ryan Coogler's Marvel opus is breaking another record, doesn't it? That's because it kind of is. Here's a look at the history Black Panther has made since it hit theaters, so far.
