Because Hollywood is a flat circle, we're getting more revamps and remakes of successful franchises than original content. That can be frustrating as hell, but we can't front: we're excited for Warner Bros.' Ocean's 8, which stars Sandra Bullock as Debbie Ocean (who in previous films was the sister of Danny Ocean, the titular character of the older Ocean's entries) alongside a motley crew featuring Rihanna, Sarah Paulson, Cate Blanchett, Awkwafina, Mindy Kaling, Anne Hathaway, and Helena Bonham Carter. You had us at hello, Warners.

The hype for this film has been building since the summer of 2016, and today we finally got the first glimpse of Ocean's 8, and we're here for it. In it, Bullock's Ocean starts out by getting parole. Instead of getting her life on track, she's immediately jumping back into the thick of it, planning the ultimate heist at the Met Gala in New York City. The rest of the trailer is her effectively bringing together the aforementioned cast. It's part-comedy, part-action, and all cool.

The film also features Olivia Munn, James Corden, and Dakota Fanning, with cameos from Kim Kardashian, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Anna Wintour, Katie Holmes, and more, although we would imagine those cameos are relegated to the actual Gala portion of the film.

Ocean's 8 hits theaters on June 8, 2018. Check out the full trailer up above.
