Seinfeld is one of the most iconic and influential sitcoms to ever air on television, but it’s more than just a comedy about four self-obsessed friends who do, well, practically nothing with their lives. As the latest trending Twitter hashtag, #SeinfeldTaughtMe, demonstrates, the sitcom that ruled the '80s and '90s also serves as a kind of guide to life.

It’s hard to know how the trend started, but the important thing is to take note of sheer number of things that people have learned from the show.
