Thor: Ragnarok hits theaters on November 3, and Marvel fans can't wait to see what the company has in store. One actor in particular loved working on the upcoming film so much that he wishes Marvel would cast him in even bigger roles, particularly superhero ones. Idris Elba, the 45-year-old dreamboat who has three other movies coming out this year, is returning as the Asgardian gatekeeper in Thor: Ragnarok.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Elba indicated that he enjoys the thought of performing superhero roles, something that he said many men his age aren't particularly enthusiastic about. Elba noted, “I wish I was more present in the Marvel family. I like what I have, but I also wish that I had a bigger character in the Marvel universe,” he said.

Idris has two other movies coming out this year in addition to Thor: Ragnarok. The actor is making his director debut in Yardie, a thriller about Jamaican drug runners, in addition to performing alongside Kate Winslet in the romantic thriller The Mountain Between Us.

The actor went on to explain that although he was honored to have a small part in the upcoming Thor movie, he did specify that he's looking for something a bit bigger in the future. “It’s been great, but I kinda think I need a bit more. I want to be a superhero. I like the idea of that.”

If his previous work is any tribute to how he will figure in a leading superhero role, there's no doubt that he'll kill it and look damn good doing it.
