While there's definitely some fire hitting the cinemas before 2017 is out, it's never too early to make plans for your theater outings in 2018. If heist movies are your cup of tea, you should definitely check out Den of Thieves, which has a stellar cast and premieres on January 19, 2018.
Just off the rip, you should notice rising star O'Shea Jackson, Jr. starring in this; he lit up the screen playing his father, Ice Cube, in 2015's Straight Outta Compton. Joining him are Gerard Butler as an intense cop, Pablo Schreiber (who many should remember as Nick Sobotka in season two of The Wire), and 50 Cent, who has had his share of gun-toting, action-packed movie roles.
Den of Thieves details a massive heist from the points of the robbers and the cops who are after them. You might be thinking "oh, it's Heist all over again." Did Heist have Kendrick Lamar as the soundtrack? Was the squad trying to take down the FEDERAL RESERVE?! Yeah, the stakes are heightened in Den of Thieves, and it already feels like an intense one.
