Earlier today, we brought you with the definitive look at the must-see shows that will be hitting during the 2017 Fall TV season, and while we don't have an official date for it, Marvel's The Punisher was on the list. Popular talk has been that The Punisher, which will find Jon Bernthal back in the saddle as the menacing vigilante Frank Castle (a.k.a. The Punisher), will premiere in November, and with Netflix dropping the first official trailer for the series today, it feels like PUNISHER SZN is truly upon us.

First off, shouts to Netflix for using Metallica's "One" as the score for this, even to the point where automatic gun fire is synced to Lars Ulrich's insane drumming in the tune. While the story isn't fully fleshed out here, you get the sense that some dirty work from Castle's past is coming back to haunt him, which means he's got to pull the guns out and go ham on anyone standing in his way. And yes, the skull's out.

Check out the full trailer up above, and try to laugh as Netflix continues to hide the release date for Marvel's The Punisher, although it feels like it's right around the corner.
