Looks Like the Bar That Accused Kendall Jenner of Not Tipping Is Backing Down

Baby's All Right, a Brooklyn bar that accused Kendall Jenner of not tipping, has deleted all of the accusations they made against her.

Late last week, Kendall Jenner got put on blast by a Brooklyn mainstay for allegedly stiffing her bartenders when it came time to leave a tip. But Baby's All Right, the bar/eatery/music venue triple-threat at the center of the controversy, appears to be slowly backing away from the battle with Jenner, as posts about the tipping controversy are mysteriously disappearing from their social media feeds.

If you're not up to speed yet, Baby's All Right used their Instagram account to shame Jenner over the weekend, playfully reminding her she should tip her bartenders on the way out the door.

After 95 percent of the internet came for her neck—those Jenner/Kardashian loyalists are a tough bunch to crack—Jenner would eventually clap back at the Brooklyn haunt, suggesting she did tip her bartender, just not in a way that could be tracked on paper.

damn, i guess next time we won't tip in cash https://t.co/iZ4tFt3pg7

If that's the case, Jenner made the amateur mistake of not writing "CASH" in big, bold letters on the tip line, but that's neither here nor there. Not satisfied with her explanation, Baby's All Right launched another attack at Jenner, screenshotting her explanation and offering a snarky response of their own by quoting the great German philosopher, Friedrich Nietzsche.

"I'm not upset that you lied to me, I'm upset that from now on I can't believe you," the post read, accompanied by the hashtag #NoCashTip. It's a little disappointing that a Brooklyn bar didn't have the good sense to borrow from one of the great philosophers of their own borough. "We don't believe you, you need more people" would have fit here just fine.

But now, those posts are but a cached ghost of internet history, with Baby's All Right deleting their original accusation against Jenner in addition to the follow-up snark they offered after she told her side of the story. From a public perspective, they look they're admitting they were wrong in the first place, whether it's because of an honest mistake or an attempt to leverage Jenner's name for some free publicity. The only evidence left of the dust-up is a stray tweet, which could be interpreted as a veiled shot at Jenner.

It's on

In case there's more to it than that—maybe Jenner threatened legal action that wasn't worth their trouble—Complex reached out to the crew at Baby's All Right to see if we could get an explanation for either the story behind the posts or why they've been taken down. We'll update with any details they share if and when they get back to us.

In the meantime, maybe a few of us owe apologies to Jenner? Considering all the details from both parties here, she's looking better and better by the day. And if she did tip, she learned a valuable lesson about filling in the whole receipt before bouncing.
