Jon Gosselin Clings to 15 Minutes of Fame, Becomes a Stripper

From deadbeat dad to DJ to stripper, Jon Gosselin's sliding further and further down the well.

For most reality TV stars, the struggle to stay relevant is real. If you don't believe that, just take a look at the life of Jon Gosselin. Along with his wife Kate, Jon got his first glimpse of fame via a Discovery Health special on his life, where he had a set of twins and a squad of sextuplets. After a second TV special on his large family, Jon and Kate Plus 8 became a full-fledged series in 2007. But just two short years later, Jon and Kate were getting divorcing, and the series became just Kate Plus 8, leaving Jon to try and figure out life on his own.

Somehow, he went from being a reality TV star to installing solar panels, working as a maitre'd, and finally becoming a DJ in 2015—while also picking up some prep cook gigs at a local TGI Fridays. And with the latest bit of Gosselin news, it looks like he can now add stripping to his growing list of odd jobs.

According to Page Six, Gosselin will be hitting Dusk nightclub in Atlantic City on April 1 for what's being called, ahem, an "Untamed Male Revue," whatever that means. He told Entertainment Tonight that stripping isn't something he had considered doing in the past, but I guess those bills aren't going to pay themselves, are they?

Dude calls his strip scene an "integral" part of the show, but I guess the question now is that, aside from the people who see him DJ regularly, will Gosselin even be a draw as a stripper? Will reality TV lovers be coming out in droves to see him disrobe? And truth be told, is this a good look for him if he's still battling for custody of his kids?

Whatever keeps the lights on, amirite?
