If you aren't excited for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, you might need your head examined. The first film was a surprise hit, helping showcase that Marvel could resurrect B-list (C-list) superheroes and make a box office monster. Plus, this film has Baby Groot being cute af, and if you're not a fan of that, you must hate your life.

We can understand if you're tired of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 teasers and trailers, though. Our first glimpse of the film was back in October, with a new look dropping two months later, and there was a Super Bowl LI big game spot as well. This new trailer, which is being called the "world trailer," was debuted by Chris Pratt himself tonight on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and it's a doozy.

In what's said to be the final trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, the misfits are back to wage war against forces threatening the galaxy...set to a soundtrack that includes Fleetwood Mac's "The Chain." The franchise's mixture of humor and balls-to-the-wall action are on full display, with everything from Star-Lord beefing with Gamora over who's rocking with rifles, as well as Baby Groot not fastening his little seat belt.

We also (finally!) got a glimpse of Kurt Russell as Ego the Living Planet, aka Star-Lord's father.

Guardians writer/director also shared this ILL poster on Twitter to celebrate.

If you need more info on this Guardians sequel, here's the official synopsis.

"Set to the backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand."

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits theaters on May 5, 2017.
