SoulCycle Rides Into Canada With Toronto Studio

SoulCycle, the uber-popular New York-based spinning studio, is ready to open its first international location in the coming weeks. SoulCycle’s first Canadian location will open in Toronto’s King West neighbourhood on March 2, 2017.

The 55-bike studio, located at 435 King Street West, is set to offer the same dance party on a bike classes that helped the luxury fitness brand earn its cult-like following. For the unfamiliar…Each 45-minute session involves a warm up, a high-intensity cardio and strength session with dumbbells and choreography like push-ups using the handlebars of your bike, and a cool down. Throw in some candles to add a little mood lighting to the pitch-black room, some seriously loud music and intense instructors egging you on with positive reinforcement and you have the signature SoulCycle workout.

The Toronto studio will also feature an “expansive lifestyle boutquie,” which will be filled with the brand’s performance and athleisure clothing collections as well as limited edition collaborations with local brands, like a varsity jacket made by Roots Canada and a unique cap made by Brimz.

SoulCycle classes in Toronto will cost $20 for first-time riders and $28 per class on a regular basis. Packages of five, ten and twenty classes are also available.
