Silicon Valley and Deadpool star T.J. Miller was arrested in Hollywood Friday morning for reportedly slapping an Uber driver following an argument. That argument, TMZclaims, was centered on the president-elect Donald Trump. Law enforcement sources said Miller was first picked up early Friday morning from a GQ party, at which point he and the driver started arguing.

The driver claims Miller "slapped him in the head" when they arrived at his Hollywood Hills residence. The Los Angeles Police Department then received a call from the driver in which he "demanded [Miller's] arrest," KNBCreported. Miller was then arrested on a battery charge, with bail set at $20,000. He was later released on his own recognizance.

Also going down on Friday? The release of Miller's new fun-for-the-whole-damn-family comedy Office Christmas Party, which is rated R for how Ridiculously Responsible it is:

Amaaaaazing unintentional promo. The movie also stars Jennifer Aniston, Jason Bateman, Olivia Munn, Kate McKinnon, Courtney B. Vance, and Randall Park. I haven't seen it, but would guess it revolves around all of those actors portraying frustrated office employees who really cut loose for the holidays with a preposterously large gathering involving various vices.

"This is not the type of party Weasel would throw because Weasel is the most selfish person next to Deadpool," Miller confirmed to C-NET last month when asked if the film documented the sort of throwdown his Deadpool character might enjoy. "He's not throwing a party for anybody unless they pay for it." Good to know.
