Premiere: Lee Daniels' 'Star' Cast Shines Bright in "I Bring Me" Music Video

With this week's Star premiere, we are now in the midst of another smash Lee Daniels TV musical. The Fox series, co-created by the Empire boss and Tom Donaghy, centers on the story of Star (Jude Demorest) as she journeys to Atlanta to become a superstar alongside her sister Simone (Brittany O'Grady) and her Instagram BFF Alexandra (Ryan Destiny).

Today, we are downright stoked to give you the exclusive premiere of the first official music video to accompany Star: The Premiere EP. The fresh visual for "I Bring Me," one of four songs included on the just-released EP, is directed by Kevin Christopher and was shot in Atlanta. Demorest, O'Grady, and Destiny star in the clip that merges behind-the-scenes studio footage with live performance shots.

Star also features Queen Latifah, Benjamin Bratt, and Lenny Kravitz. Wednesday's premiere, which can be accessed right here with a subscription, was co-penned by Daniels and Donaghy. After helming multiple episodes of Empire, Daniels returned to the director's chair for the Star pilot.
