Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Zac Efron are hitting the R-rated beach in the first trailer for Baywatch, the movie version of arguably one of the greatest lifeguard-centered TV shows of all time. "Our team is the elite of the elite," Johnson says by way of impressively dramatic narration in the trailer. "We're the heart and soul of this very beach. We protect when other people don't wanna protect, and we go above and beyond." Sounds good to me.

"I think it was the opportunity to take a TV show that was really successful and take a crack at it on the big screen," Johnson toldGQ of bringing the iconic TV series back for a new generation of fans back in June. "The back story s that it came to us about four years ago, I was in London, and we were having the premier of GI Joe. Mark Evans, who is the current President of Paramount, flew over and said he wanted to talk to me about Baywatch. And I thought: 'Woah, OK… that's interesting.'"

Just in time for this R-rated and cameo-stacked reboot, Johnson was recently named the Sexiest Man Alive by the sexiness experts over at People. "I'm not quite sure where we go from here," Johnson joked when presented with the honor last month. "I've done it all, this is it."

Baywatch, also starring Kelly Rohrbach and Priyanka Chopra, hits theaters May 26, 2017.
