Following reports that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were "rethinking" their bodyguard strategy in the wake of the Paris armed robbery, the couple has parted ways with multiple members of their security team. Longtime bodyguard Pascal Duvier was reportedly among the employees who were recently relieved of their duties, Entertainment Tonightreported Thursday.

"Pascal, along with a couple other security members of their team, were recently let go by Kim and Kanye," a source toldET. "It's a pretty tough situation overall and they love Pascal, but they couldn't take any more chances." Duvier had become an integral part of the family's security detail, having worked for West since 2012 and Kardashian since 2013.

Though Kardashian was joined by Duvier during her trip to France last month, sources close to the investigation claim he was not at the Paris apartment when she was held at gunpoint alongside the hotel concierge. Instead, sources claim, Duvier was working security with Kim's sister, Kourtney.

During a recent appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, Khloé Kardashian updated fans on how Kim and the rest of the family were coping with the robbery. "I mean, [Kim's] not doing that well," she told DeGeneres last month. "It's incredibly traumatic what happened to her. But our family is super close and great and we'll get through this together. We do appreciate all of your guys' love and support. It will take time."

Though Kim was recently spotted at multiple stops on Kanye's Saint Pablo tour, she has mostly maintained a low profile since the attack.
