Shia LaBeouf and longtime partner Mia Goth reportedly got married in Las Vegas Monday afternoon. According toTMZ, LaBeouf and Goth were hitched at the themed wedding chapel Viva Las Vegas. Portions of the ceremony, which included a proper full-volume blasting of the Springsteen classic "Hungry Heart," were livestreamed by TMZ. LaBeouf and Goth first started dating surrounding the production of Lars von Trier's two-part film Nymphomaniac in 2012.
Both Goth and LaBeouf have taken unique approaches to their respective public personas. In an interview with Dazed in February, Goth detailed her approach to social media as crucial in maintaining the quality of her work. "For me, it creates a better platform for when I do work, so people don't know so much about me," Goth, who stars in next year's A Cure for Wellness, said. "If they know what I ate for breakfast on Tuesday, and then I have to transport into a different world entirely—well, that suspension of disbelief becomes easier if there's a barrier."
LaBeouf is currently in theaters as traveling magazine salesman Jake in Andrea Arnold's glowingly reviewed American Honey. "The Oscars are about politics," LaBeouf toldVariety when pressed about the awards buzz surrounding his performance. "I gotta earn my way back. It's not about who is the best. I'm not that guy for a long time—for a long, long time. I'm good with that, though. Sometimes that shit is a curse."
LaBeouf and Goth went with an Elvis and Hawaiian theme for their ceremony Monday, TMZreported. Goth was first spotted rocking an engagement ring in March of this year, following a public fight in Germany last summer.
