The 41st edition of the Toronto International Film Festival takes over the city from September 8 until the 18. That means countless cocktail parties, tons of film industry related events, and plenty of red carpet premieres.

This year TIFF will screen more than 300 films throughout the festival and all of those films will be vying for the celluloid fests most coveted award, the audience-voted People’s Choice Award.  Wondering why? Well... the People's Choice Award has a celebrated history, with dozens of winning films going on to receive Academy Award nominations and even win Oscar gold.
