The latest treat to come out of San Diego Comic-Con is footage from the upcoming season of Marvel's Luke Cage. The hotly anticipated series follows titular hero Luke Cage (played by Mike Colter) as he fights crime in New York City. The footage premiered during a roundtable discussion with the cast and crew of the film. It included Colter and his fellow actors Alfre Woodard, Mahershala Ali, Theo Rossi, Simone Missick, Frank Whaley and showrunner and executive producer, Cheo Hodari Coker. It also boasted an appearance by Jon Bernthal, who was introduced as The Punisher in season two of Daredevil

Luke Cage premieres on Netflix Sept. 30. It follows the premieres of two other Netflix Marvel seriesJessica Jones and Daredevil. The three series, along with the upcoming Iron Fist, will eventually combine into Marvel's The Defenders, as all four heroes join forces in one series. During the roundtable, it was also revealed that Daredevil has officially received an order for season three. Later in the evening, they also revealed the logo for The Defenders, which you can see below.
