For the latest edition of the esteemed news series "Trolling Or Nah," we have this: Samuel L. Jackson, who recently revealed what exactly is in his Capital One-sponsored wallet, swears our dude Mace Windu is still alive. Not only does Jackson offer a vaguely plausible theory as to how Windu could have survived his apparent death in Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, he even managed to get George Lucas to co-sign it.

"In my mind, I'm not dead," Jackson said in response to a fan's tweeted question earlier this week. "Jedis can fall incredibly high distances and not die." The Cell star expounded on this theory a bit in an interview with Entertainment Weekly Wednesday, saying "of course" Windu is alive. "Jedi can fall from amazing distances," he said. "And there's a long history of one-handed Jedi. So why not?" Yeah! Why the hell not?

That's right. Windu seemed to be super dead after suffering a sliced hand and plummeting from an extremely high window. So what gives? What's the Star Wars overlord think of this whole "Mace Windo is alive" conspiracy? According to Jackson, he's fine with it:

"George is like, 'I'm okay with that. You can be alive.'"

Does this mean Lucas will somehow figure out a way to convince the new Star Wars overlords to give Mace Windu a well-deserved solo movie? Just imagine this clip being, like, two hours longer:

Just don't ask alleged George Lucas BFF James Cameron what he thinks about all of this.
