The pieces are falling into place for Nickelodeon's Hey Arnold movie. The cable network announced today that its made-for-TV movie based on the classic cartoon series (which may or may not have contained some serious NSFW action) has a name (Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie), and a cast (the old one).

The movie will feature 19 of the voice actors from the original series, including: Francesca Marie Smith as Helga; Anndi McAfee as Phoebe; Justin Shenkarow as Harold; Olivia Hack as Rhonda; Nika Futterman as Olga; Dan Butler as Mr. Simmons; Dan Castellaneta as Grandpa, and Tress MacNeille as Grandma, among others.

Lane Toran, the lumberjackish Instagram celeb who originally voiced Arnold, will have a role in the movie, but it appears that he's aged out of playing Arnold. That voice will now go to Mason Vale Cotton, one of the many child actors who played Bobby Draper on Mad Men.

As far as the plot goes, Nickelodeon didn't say much, but they did reveal one major detail:

The Jungle Movie will feature a storyline that picks up from where the original series ended in 2004 and will resolve unanswered questions and plotlines--including Arnold finally getting answers about the whereabouts of his missing parents.

The two-hour movie is set to be released in 2017. We're still waiting to hear more about Nickelodeon's other hugely-anticipated movie, the (possibly) live-action crossover featuring characters from Hey Arnold!, Rugrats, Angry Beavers, Rocko's Modern Life, The Ren & Stimpy Show, and other Nick series.
