You, the people, demanded it and Sony have answered back in kindness as Crash Bandicoot is finally coming home to the PlayStation 4… sort of. While not a standalone 'Crash' game Sony’s one time mascot is making his comeback as a playable character in Skylanders Imaginators. Sony made the big reveal during their E3 press conference and while it’s not the game we perhaps wanted it still got us hyped enough to see him back in action.
But that's not all — The good news is that Sony did announce that remasters of the first three Crash Bandicoot PS1 games (1, 2 and Warped, ie the good ones) currently in development for the PlayStation 4.

It won't actually be Crash's PS4 debut — he made a sneaky appearance in 'Uncharted 4'.
