Despite killing it at the box office in the West, Deadpool doesn’t actually drop in Japan until June 1. So promote it Fox have made this gigantic statue of the mutant in full-chill mode. We think it might be meant to resemble a traditional giant reclining Buddha statue, but actually he looks like he’s got some sexy seduction vibes going on.
The statue is nearly 25 ft long, and is set to go on a tour to promote the film. It started out in in Osaka on Sunday, and is planning to hit Nagoya and Tokyo as well.
