Vin Diesel was hit with an acute case of the Holy Spirit while shooting xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, ultimately letting that spirit guide him to a spirited rendition of "Oh Happy Day" with the Sharon Riley & Faith Chorale. "I had a dream that the film would include a choir," Diesel explains in Trinity Lewis' video of the impromptu ultralight beam delivery service. "A dream of mine always has been to have the confidence to sing in the choir." That confidence, it seems, was recently obtained thanks to the power of xXx.

The impassioned performance, Diesel says, was inspired by a day of shooting inside a church with xXx co-star Samuel L. Jackson. As previously reported, Jackson is stepping back into the xXx ring to reprise his role as Augustus Gibbons. The Pulp Fiction legend joins former NFL star Tony Gonzalez, who is set to make his cinematic debut in an undisclosed (though clearly quite appropriate) role.

No stranger to the art of the seemingly improbable sequel, Diesel has recently teased a wide variety of potential sequels, with the bulk of the hype going to whisperings of another Iron Giant. Rumors and wishful thinking aside, what we know for sure is that Diesel and the Fast and Furious team are set to return for next year's Fast 8. Charlize Theron, as announced last week, is set to star in the F. Gary Gray-directed sequel to the monstrously successful Furious 7.

More ultralight beams, Vin. We need it.
