We've heard many great things about Jared Leto's portrayal of the infamous DC Comics super villain and Batman's rival, The Joker, in the upcoming villain ensemble movie Suicide Squad. However the praise has mostly come from the people behind the movie, such as the film's director David Ayer, who said Leto's Joker made the whole world stop.

Leto has been giving himself the most praise, though. Earlier he was quoted as saying that Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger would "approve" of his performance. In an interview withComing Soon, Leto said, "[W]e walked in a completely new direction. I think we knew that we had to do that. It was important to do that. When the Joker has been done and done so well, it gives you a bit of an indication of where you shouldn’t go. There’s a bit of a map there. That’s the good part about it."

Considering the sources of praise aren't critics and fans yet, it's kinda hard to really judge whether this praise is legit or not, it could be the worst performance ever. Who knows? Even The Help and How to Get Away With Murder's Viola Davis called bullshit on Leto's "antics" on set.
