Nicolas Cage and Mötley Crüe frontman Vince Neil got into a seemingly intense fight on Thursday, with early reports claiming the brawl started with some disturbing behavior from Neil. Footage of the incident, obtained byTMZ, appears to capture the final moments of the heated interaction between Cage and the rock semi-legend outside a Las Vegas hotel.

Local authorities tell TMZ that the bizarre encounter kicked off around 5 p.m. at the Aria Hotel when a woman approached the inimitable Nicolas Cage for an autograph. Vince Neil, according to sources, approached the woman from behind before allegedly grabbing her hair and pulling her to the ground. At this point, Cage is believed to have intervened before exiting the hotel while still trying to restrain Neil. "Stop this shit now!" the Leaving Las Vegas Oscar-winner is heard screaming at Neil before ultimately subduing him.

Neil was ultimately hit with a misdemeanor battery citation, according to the New York Daily News. Though he wasn't arrested or taken into custody, the notorious rock singer does a face a fine as high as $1,000 (seemingly not a big deal to him) and possible jail time. Mötley Crüe officially concluded their career last year by declaring the band retired, which still remains tremendously good news for all.
