Lindsay Lohan, who may or may not be newly engaged to an alleged Russian heir, is now in the middle of a life-changing spiritual journey. Lohan is reportedly planning a conversion to Islam, according toPage Six. Though reps for Lohan have yet to comment on the news, Lohan did offer inquiring minds a few words on her recent studies of the Quran.

"I'm a very spiritual person and I'm really open to learning," Lohan told the Sun earlier this week. "America has portrayed holding [a Quran] in such a different way to what it actually is." Lohan argues that, despite one's religious preferences, we "all believing in something" and that something, says Lohan, ultimately leads back to a god.

Lohan's interest in the religion was noted last summer, when the Mean Girls star was spotted in New York carrying a copy of the Quran. However, according to the Sun, Lohan hasn't quite made it all the way through the text. "I'm not done reading it," she said. "Do you know how long that would take? It takes so long."

Lohan, who also cites meditation as crucial to fully embracing one's spiritual side, isn't the only one on the family undergoing a potential religious reinvention. "My sister [Ali Lohan] is Buddhist," Lohan told the Sun, "but she is still interested in learning other things from me. It's good to be open-minded." Indeed. Props on the potential reawakening, Lindsay Lohan.
