The new Power Rangers movie has been something that we’ve kept a keen eye on since it was announced by Lionsgate. While we’re still waiting to see what the new 'Rangers' will look like in their outfits we have been treated to an official image of Elizabeth Banks as Rita Repulsa
It’s definitely a change from the TV version, we personally think there’s a Poison Ivy element to her new look (and by that we mean the comics, not Uma Thurman’s version). Banks herself seems amped up the role saying that “I've never played a villain before. [I'm looking forward to] world domination - and being unpredictable as a character."
So what are your thoughts on the current version of a classic Power Rangers villain compared to the old one?
Power Rangers is scheduled to be in cinemas for March 24 next year.
