Tonight marks the season finale of Ryan Murphy's wildly successful anthology series American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson, which Complex contributor Julian Kimble named this year's best show on television (same tbh). A quick glance at this morning's headlines reveals everyone but Sarah Paulson is eagerly awaiting the final episode of this true crime iteration. Speaking to the New York Times about his role as Simpson's closest friend, Robert Kardashian, David Schwimmer dropped some secrets about how he got into character. His key? Talking with Kris Jenner.

"She talked about what a man of faith he was and how he had a very strong and personal relationship to God that influenced every decision he made," Schwimmer told the Times. He said that knowing that Kardashian was an unshakable man of faith helped him develop his portrayal of his character in a much different way and (spoiler) likely fleshed out his character's uncertainty about whether O.J. actually committed the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman. "For me it started to answer the questions I was having about the choices he had made in terms of taking part in the trial and his loyalty," he added. And it comes through in the show, too. So we evidently have Kris Jenner to thank for all those "Juice" memes.
