It would probably really suck as a Hollywood agent to watch your client sign on to the biggest movie franchise in the universe, only after they've already fired you. That's what happened with agent Brian Dreyfuss and Star Wars: Episode VIII director RianJohnson. Johnson fired Dreyfuss in 2014, then signed on to write and direct the franchise's next installment in 2015.  Now Dreyfuss is suing.

In an attempt to still wet his beak with a piece of that (presumably) fat, juicy Star Wars check, the agent has filed a breach of contract lawsuit against Johnson, Variety reports. The suit contends that Johnson owes him 10 percent of the Star Wars money because Dreyfuss helped set up a meeting with a Lucasfilm exec to discuss the possibility of working together way back in 2012 when he was still representing him, although Johnson said he wasn't interested at the time. As Vulture points out,  the suit claims producer Ram Bergman pushed Johnson to fire Dreyfuss before signing on to Star Wars.

Cameras recently started rolling on Episode VIII, which, like Episode VII was, is currently being filmed at London's Pinewood Studios. Along with newcomers Daisy Ridley as Rey and Jon Boyega returning as Finn, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill will be back again in their iconic roles. Laura Dern and Benicio del Toro are joining the franchise for Episode VIII, though their roles haven't been revealed yet. Boyega has said that the script for Episode VIII is definitely "much darker," than Episode VII.

The film was supposed to come out in May of 2017, but has since been pushed back to December of that year. Johnson is also the director of Brick, Looper and some of the best episodes of Breaking Bad.
