Marvel's 'Luke Cage' will be coming to Netflix sooner than you think.

Now this is exciting. While we're still reeling from that epic new Captain America: Civil War trailer that hit the Internets yesterday, it's easy to forget that the second season of Marvel's Daredevil hits Netflix on March 18. Guess that's what happens when your Cinematic Universe is as massive as Marvel's.

Last night there was a premiere of Marvel's Daredevil in New York, and while we're sure those in attendance loved what they saw, it's the news that happened outside of the venue that has us excited. Mike Colter, aka the man who took the mantle as Luke Cage (which we saw in the magnificent Jessica Jones), let it be known that while Daredevil will hit on March 18, he says "I will see the fans on September 30th." Now while that can be taken a few different ways, @LukeCage spells it out properly.

September 30, we are heading to #Harlem. #LukeCage https://t.co/0SGLJMxCQT

While we don't know the whole story, we do know that Luke Cage will be the third series under the Defenders umbrella, and that the fourth piece of that puzzle (Iron Fist) will play a part in Luke Cage. There's also rumors of one Misty Knight being featured in the series, as well as there being some form of origin story on Cage, in what Colter calls an "action packed" show.

September 30 can't come fast enough.
