Is Lindsay Lohan Dabbling in Performance Art á la Shia LaBeouf?

Lindsay Lohan posts an Instagram photo that's very reminiscent of a Shia LaBeouf performance piece.

It seems like it was just yesterday that Shia LaBeouf walked out of a press conference for Nymphomaniac at the Berlin International Film Festival wearing a paper bag over his head with the words "I am not famous anymore" written over it. Well, Lindsay Lohan seems to look fondly on Shia's piece of performance art and decided to post a photo of herself doing something similar onto her Instagram.

Lohan took to her Instagram, which, in the past few weeks has mostly served as platform for her to showcase her dubsmash-ing, to post a photo of her wearing a paper bag over her head with the same words as Shia's bag.

I'm not really sure what kind of statement Lohan is trying to make (or what Shia was doing either), but, to be honest, it doesn't seem like she's been too down in the dumps about anything lately. For one, she hasn't been in the news for anything bad lately (for the most part), and she really does seem to have created a nice life for herself in London, where she moved after starring in a West End production of David Mamet's play Speed-the-Plow.

Still, I often wonder if we'll ever get a sequel to Herbie Fully Loaded
