Looks like the promotional machine for Game of Thrones Season 6 is really gearing up. Peter Dinklage, who plays Tyrion Lannister on the HBO series, will host Saturday Night Live for the first time on April 2, just a few weeks before the new season premieres. Gwen Stefani will serve as the musical guest on Dinklage's episode.

Hopefully this means the return of "Peter Drunklage," the character that Dinklage debuted alongside "Drunk Uncle" during a cameo on Weekend Update way back in 2013. Be prepared, winter GoT sketches are coming, we'd assume.

SNL has taken aim at Game of Thrones a few times over the years. There was that Game of Thrones meets South Central Los Angeles skit that imagined what it would be like if Jamie Lannister rode through a Boyz n the Hood-ish kingdom called South Centeros. Taraji P. Henson starred in that one, and even Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) showed up for a second. And Coster-Waldau came back for a skit about a Game of Thrones game show when Zach Galifianakis hosted and wanted to take a shower with him.

Game of Thrones Season 6 is officially set to premiere on HBO on April 24. If you want to get a head start by analyzing every single scene from the new Season 6 trailer, you can definitely do that right here.

SNL will be on break after last night's Ariana Grande's double-duty host/musical guest episode until it returns on April 2.
