Apparently Batman wouldn't go down as easily as Damon implied.

Beloved best friend duo Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are currently making the press rounds for their upcoming films. Affleck plays the role of Batman in the highly anticipated Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice featuring the DC Comics favorites, and Damon is set to reprise his role as Jason Bourne this summer. The excitement surrounding the forthcoming projects has fans pitting Batman and Bourne against each other in hypothetical duel situations, and Affleck and Damon have both commented on the playful rivalry. E! News reports that Affleck has fired back at Damon regarding what he said about Batman's poor chances in a fight against Jason Bourne.

Affleck's response comes quite some time after Damon's initial comments. Back in September Damon said that "Jason Bourne would kick the shit out of Batman—definitely!" He added that Batman would have to first defeat Superman before he would even consider the possibility of Batman taking down Jason Bourne. Affleck wasn't going to let Damon have the last word. He told E! News, "Matt is going around saying this all over the place but not to my face. But Matt can’t even beat me up, never mind Batman. You know what I’m saying? He has a long way to go…They’re just finishing the Bourne movie now when we have our premiere over in London. I’ll see Matt and he can take me up on it.” We all know anyway that the two would end up hugging it out if a fight were ever imminent. They are bromance at its finest.
