Amber Heard Has Already Tried on Her Costume for 'The Justice League: Part One'

She will play the sea queen, Mera.

It looks like Jason Momoa’s Aquaman has finally found his wife. With Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice a mere week away and filming for The Justice League: Part One to commence several weeks after that, Amber Heard has been confirmed to step into the scales shoes of sea queen, Mera.

ETreports that the 29-year-old actress is set to play the DC Comics character who will first appear in the Justice League film before heading over to Aquaman’s standalone adventure in 2018. In case you’re wondering if this is a hoax, the Adderall Diaries star even revealed that she’s already tried on the costume. "It's interesting. It's like, half suit of armor, half scales," she toldET. "It's strange...We're in the process of building it now, so it's coming along."

Zack Snyder, who directed Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, will helm the two-part Justice League movies which finds Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Mera and more uniting against a formidable villain. Furious 7'sJames Wan is slated to direct Aquaman’s solo flick and the details of that plot have yet to be revealed.
