If you’re a fan of outsider art, then you’re probably familiar with Mishka. As a clothing brand, Mishka caters to the outsider community—or, as some might put it, “the geeks”—a term that Mishka’s lead designer, Lamour Supreme, has no objections about. “You know, we are nerds,” he says, proudly—but there’s obviously more to the story than that. “Mishka is just one of those brands that’s constantly trying to evolve.”

Supreme and Mishka seemed destined for each other from the start. Supreme began as an architectural designer who posted artwork online in his spare time. But once he discovered Mishka, the thunderbolt struck quickly. “It was almost like I found my home,” he says. The crew at Mishka were already fans of the work he’d done as well, so the relationship was a good fit right away. “We vibed pretty quickly,” Supreme says. “From there it was just natural that we would just keep working together.”

Now, Mishka and Supreme have teamed up with Jack in the Box to collaborate on an exclusive capsule collection in honor of Jack in the Box’s “Declaration of Delicious” initiative. It’s a partnership that makes a whole lot of sense to Supreme. “If you think about it, Mishka—we’re kind of iconic to youth culture,” he says, and “Jack in the Box is iconic as well” as a brand with a very deep history. Speaking of history, Supreme, an admitted American history buff, shared with us one of the designs he’s concocted thus far—Jack Box dressed as a presidential-themed character—which you can check out in the video above. Not only that, but you can enter to win items from the capsule collection for yourself by visiting this page.

For Supreme, the Mishka/Jack in the Box collaboration is just the latest in a litany of eccentric, oddball, and totally original ideas. “The stuff that’s made out of left field is kind of like the most interesting stuff,” he says. From the looks of it, he just might be onto something.
