In lieu of a third season of True Detective, we have this: the Twitter-pausing, Instagram-crashing selfie that many experts agree might very well inspire society to achieve the utopia that so often escapes us. Kim Kardashian and Amber Rose, in the wake of some decidedly wavy Twitter controversy and some Rob / Chyna conscious coupling, effectively put the internet on notice with a tea-referencing selfie early Tuesday:
In fact, Kardashian and Rose reportedly had a secret meeting at Kris Jenner's house on Monday evening. Sources tell TMZ that Kardashian reached out to Rose and invited her over for an impromptu feud-ending chat, a chat that clearly went over pretty well for all involved.
For those not well-versed in why exactly this selfie is most definitely a big deal, this photographic peace offering comes just days after that aforementioned wavy Twitter feud in which Wiz Khalifa and Kanye West shared some less-than-kind words that sadly included some disparaging remarks about Rose.
For further perplexity, consult the fact that Blac Chyna also appears to have been in the general vicinity of Rose on Monday night:
"What I’ve realized is that, when you care too much, you’re not living at your full potential," Rose said in a Time essay shortly after West's tweets were shared and promptly deleted. "When you really stop caring about what people say, that’s when you really start living. It’s such an amazing feeling. It’s about loving who you are, owning who you are and knowing that it’s O.K. to live your life how you want to live it."
Simultaneously, the blossoming relationship between Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian has received a full-on endorsement from Rose. Though most of the Kardashian-Jenner fam would appear to be less enthusiastic about their coupledom, Kim appears to be setting aside the potential awkwardness in the name of positive energy.
