So what happens when you force two opposing personalities to share a body and become a superhero? In any other instance, this would make for a great buddy sci-fi comedy but it’s one of the many underlying storylines that make up CW’s latest comic book adventure, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

The show follows a ragtag group of unlikely heroes who must unite and travel through time to stop the end of the world, which happens many years in the future. Among this merry band of misfits is a superhero named Firestorm, comprised of Dr. Martin Stein and a football player-turned-mechanic  named Jefferson "Jax" Jackson. The CW Network just released a featurette, which gives a more in depth look into the conflict plaguing both men.

While Dr. Stein is enthusiastic about being a hero, Jackson has a few reservations leading to a clash of the personalities. It also didn’t help that Stein drugged Jackson and essentially forced him to join the journey. Anything to save the world, right?

As they try to work through their issues, you can catch DC’s Legends of Tomorrow on Thursday nights at 8 p.m. The show stars Victor Garber, Brandon Routh, Caity Lotz, Ciara Renée, Franz Drameh, Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller.
