The original Pokémonturns 20 years old next month—yes, you are old, deal with it—and as part of Nintendo’s celebrations they are re-releasing the OG Red and Blue versions of the game on the 3DS eShop. So now you can relive those simple days when there were only 151 Pokémon out there (yes, Mew counts). Both version will be available on February 27. News of the digital releases leaked late last year, but now seems to be confirmed.
And what if you don’t have a 3DS yet? In North America at least, there’s also a special version of the console coming with both games pre-loaded, and special Charizard and Blastoise faceplates.
