Sometimes you forget that people are capable of doing nice things but then you see a video—like the one above—that's pure kindness

It was around 10 p.m. on a Friday when Lazaro Nolasco boarded a train at Washington Heights headed downtown. While on the train he noticed a man take off his shirt and give it to a seated passenger, another man who appeared to be freezing. Moved by the exchange, Nolasco filmed the whole ordeal, which you can see above.

“The guy didn’t have a shirt on,” he told the New York Daily News. “His body looked sick.”

Probably because these acts of unadulterated goodness are rare, but the video—also posted to Nolasco's Facebook page—went viral.
