When it comes to spoofing some of the world’s biggest movies in the most hilarious ways, nobody does it better than Marlon Wayans. Dating all the way back to Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood, Wayans has brought audiences nearly to tears while lovingly mocking some of the world’s most successful films, from the Scary Movie franchise to Dance Flick to A Haunted House and its sequel.
Now, Wayans and company have set their sights on perhaps the biggest pop culture phenomenon of the past decade: Fifty Shades of Grey. Based on the popular book series and last year’s film adaptation of the same name, Wayans and his team of collaborators have created perhaps their most razor sharp parody yet: Fifty Shades of Black. The film reunites Wayans with co-writer Rick Alvarez and director Mike Tiddes, both of whom he teamed with on Dance Flick and the A Haunted House series. This time, Wayans gets to send up the iconic and mysterious Christian Grey with his own absurdly hilarious incarnation: Christian Black.
In addition to Marlon Wayans, Fifty Shades of Black features an all-star comedy cast that includes Kali Hawk, Mike Epps, Jane Seymour and Fred Willard.
