It made a lot of money.

While some kids threw major temper tantrums for receiving the wrong video game for Christmas, Disney executives unwrapped an even cooler holiday present—a new box office record. Star Wars: The Force Awakens grossed a record $49.3 million on Christmas Day, TheWrapreports.

That record was previously held by Sherlock Homes, starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law, with $24.6 million in 2009. If the latest installment of Star Wars continues with this momentum, it could easily score the highest grossing second weekend and beat out Jurassic World’s mark back in June. The film could also trump Jurassic World as the fastest to reach $1 billion. It’s raked in $889 million worldwide so far.

With these numbers, The Force Awakens may very well be the biggest movie of 2015. Even emo Kylo Ren has to smile about that. Or maybe not.
