Former Oklahoma City police officer Daniel Holtzclaw was found guilty on Thursday of 18 of the 36 counts he faced, CNN reports. Among the crimes he was convicted of: sexual battery, forcible oral sodomy and rape.
Holtzclaw shook violently and began crying as the verdict was being read aloud in the courtroom.

According to reports, the jury has reccomended a sentence of more than 200 years in prison for the former officer.Â
