Though climate change is slowly but surely inspiring people to hold off on the whole procreation thing, plenty of people are still having babies and promptly giving them names. If BabyCenter.com's newly released 2015 list of most popular names is any indication, then Instagram filters are kind of reinventing the game right now. For example, the Instagram-derived name "Lux" jumped an astronomical 75 percent in popularity compared to last year's statistics.

Kelvin, Amaro, Reyes, and Ludwig also saw a noticeable increase in popularity for so-called "boy names," while Juno, Willow, and Valencia saw the same within the equally so-called category of "girl names." Sadly, the name #nofilter doesn't appear to be catching on with the same resilience, as BabyCenter.com doesn't even bother mentioning it in its report. The U.S. Social Security Administration is currently set to release its own official list of most popular names next year, according to Time.

It may or may not be worth mentioning that recent studies have suggested that the birth of their first child makes parents more miserable than divorce, unemployment, or death. However, if you're into that sort of thing, peep the full list of most popular baby names below:
