The ghost of Christmas past is haunting mall-goers in California and his name is Steven Anthony Lawrence, better known as "Beans" on Disney Channel’s Even Stevens.
25-year-old Lawrence played bacon-lover Bernard "Beans" Aranguren for three seasons—and a TV movie—alongside Shia LaBeouf. Since then he’s continued to act, recently appearing in commercials. These days he's been spotted spreading holiday cheer as a Santa helper at the Sunvalley Shopping Center in Concord. In an interview with the Huffington Post earlier this year Lawrence said he was surprised he still gets recognized. "I feel like I've changed so much when I look in the mirror…" said Lawrence. "But I'll be walking down the street and people drive by for two seconds and automatically they'll go, "Oh, my God! You're Beans! Ahhh!"
