Paris Attacks: People Stand Up for Muslims With #TerrorismHasNoReligion Twitter Trend

The Twitter hashtag has been trending worldwide.

The terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday night left France and the entire international community devastated. ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attacks that left at least 153 people dead and more than 300 people injured.

On Saturday morning, people started tweeting the hashtag #TerrorismHasNoReligion in response to those blaming Muslim groups for the Paris attacks. People from around the world have joined the social media conversation to defend Islam as a nonviolent faith. The Twitter hashtag has been trending worldwide.
