However, sources "connected with" Tyga maintain that he pulled the plug after the Kardashian fam repeatedly told Kylie that her career was "far more important than his," reports TMZ.

E! News has now confirmed that the couple did indeed split (on Tyga's birthday, no less), also adding that Kylie initiated the break.

Kylie Jenner and Tyga have reportedly ended their relationship, with TMZ reporting it was "sudden and nasty." Sources claim that the pair split up after Kylie returned from a recent trip to Australia. "It’s something Tyga did," a source tells TMZ, adding that Kylie was the one who ultimately pulled the plug.
Sources "connected with" Tyga, however, are telling the opposite story and citing "pressure from the Kardashians." Additional sources cite Kendall Jenner as having some "harsh words" regarding Tyga and his relationship with her younger sister while exiting a restaurant earlier this week.
The pair's relationship has grown increasingly public over the past year, culminating in Kylie's starring role in Tyga's Halloween-released video for "Dope'd Up." As of Friday, neither party had issued any sort of response to the break-up reports.
