Ever since Lamar Odom was transferred to Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center last month following a drug overdose, Khloé Kardashian has been by his side taking care of him. She even called off the couple's divorce and her book tour for Strong Looks Better Naked to focus on Odom’s recuperation. According to TMZ, it seems Khloé has contracted a serious staph infection during her visits and has had to reschedule some book signings.
A staph infection can be caused by bacteria typically found in the nose and skin, though most of the time the bacteria doesn't cause disease. Ranging in severity, a staph infection can cause skin rashes and boils or dangerous heart infections.
A source told TMZ Khloé has an extremely painful lesion on her leg. She’s also reportedly suffering from a fever, chills, and swollen glands. "It's so scary. She's so sick," the source revealed.
Before Khloé's illness was confirmed she announced she had to reschedule book signings because she was really sick. She blamed it on stress tweeting:
Khloé also blamed stress in an Instagram post where she wrote “sweating out the stress today” at the gym.
