Burger-enthusiast Instagram account @burgerbunday has gone from being barely known to the butt of jokes across social media, after posting a homophobic review of Melbourne establishment The Beaufort.
The quartet of suburban bros put in a standard review for the restaurant, before inexplicably finishing the write up with this ill-advised "quote of the night."
whilst waiting for two girls to finish using the pool table, one of the BBD members pointed out that they were probably "bean eating rug-munchers" to which another member responded with genuine shock "I honestly thought that was a bloke."
The post was finished off with the bro-perfect hashtag, #banter.
The Beaufort, who were tagged in the post, soon replied.
Ahh, the old @burgerbunday. Bit of casual racism and a dash of homophobia. Fucking good review cunts. Also, nothing about that back room says Texas. What about the giant fucking Australian flag screamed Texas to you? We very rarely respond in this way, but seriously lads take your politically incorrect bullshit elsewhere and untag. Perhaps not realising the error of their ways, Burger Bun Day offered to sell the restaurant a t-shirt. The best was yet to come though, with The Beaufort chiming in with one last post.

After the tide turned on the bros, the offending Instagram account has since been switched to private. Screenshots have been published across social media, with internet identities Brown Cardigan and Cook Suck among those flame-grilling the burger boys. Meanwhile, The Beaufort seems to have won themselves a few fans.
