Whatever you do, don’t call Benedict Cumberbatch an otter. The actor appeared on the British chat show Graham Norton alongside Black Mass co-star Johnny Depp to promote their film chronicling an infamous Boston gangster and he felt a bit cross about the comparison. “Something about it makes me want to,” he joked before leaping off the coffee table to tackle the enormous stuffed animal while a horrified yet amused Depp looked on.
Actually, it was all part of a humorous segment in which the Doctor Strange actor reenacted adorable otter pics as a nod to his growing meme. Depp appeared dazed and confused while Cumberbatch saw humor in the situation. So, yeah, it's okay to call him an otter.
