An electrical engineer in California used a little bit of Tony Starks-esque technology to recreate the magic of Thor's legendary hammer Mjolnir.
The hammer, Marvel fans know, can only be picked up by Thor (and a tiny handful of other characters over the years).
Allen Pan built his hammer with an electromagnet inside of it, creating a strong pull toward metal surfaces. He also installed a fingerprint scanner that would cut the power when it sensed Pan's print, allowing him to pick it up when other people couldn't.
So which one's cooler? Pan's hammer that only he can pick up, or the one that this guy built with 80,000 volts of "lightning" inside of it.
