A plane exploding might be exciting in an action film like Spectre, but not so much when it’s happening in real life.
Time reports that the engine of Dynamic Airways flight 405, heading for Caracas, Venezuela on Thursday afternoon, caught fire with more than 100 passengers on board. The incident occurred on the runway at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and firefighters were able to extinguish the flames with foam. Passengers were also evacuated but according to a retweet by Broward County Sheriff’s Office, there were “several” injuries.
